Richard (left hand side) and Michael (right hand side) met in first year physics, starting a friendship that would endure to this day. Over the years, Richard went mad and became a high power laser physicist, building and working on the biggest lasers in the southern hemisphere, while Michael went mad in his own right, and attained degrees in physics, software, and space engineering, working on state and national scale projects.

After conquering the field of high-power lasers, Richard rand out of challenges. Having seen the suffering caused by drone warfare, Richard decided it was time to act, to solve the problem, and save lives. Being an avid gamer, he had devised how to build a laser rifle years ago, and here was the perfect application; Richard formed RedTail Technology. After showing Michael what Richard was developing, Michael quickly joined the team, and within three months of the company formation, a prototype was formed, and we were in the game of counter drone technology.

Today, RedTail Technology is rapidly growing. We are increasing our technological maturity, building repour with customers and partners, and allowing other to join us on our mission to save lives, and our vision to connect the world using photons; from communications, to powering, and to defending. The future, is photonics!
