Richard Pahlavani
Founder, Chief Executive Officer, Laser Physicist
Richard is a rapid R&D engineer and physicist with in-depth backgrounds in large scale directed energy weapon (DEW) construction and deployment, nonlinear photonics, ultra-narrow linewidth lasers, Earth-to-space satellite laser ranging systems, alignment and operation of large telescope facilities, laser diagnostics of hypersonic air flows, Neuromorphic cameras for satellite detection, and is a NASA award winner, amongst other achievements. Richard founded RedTail Technology to supercharge the development and adoption of high power lasers.
Michael Bauer
Chief Technology Officer, Software Engineer
Michael is a highly experienced software engineer working in artificial intelligence, Geospatial information systems, space domain awareness and satellite systems. Michael has developed end-to-end software and analysis solutions to clients such as the NSW Rural Fire Service, Transport for NSW and has delivered autonomous functionality to the SpIRIT satellite ground segment. Michael is also a global NASA Award Winner and a Professional Member of Engineers Australia. Michael joined RedTail Technology three months after its inception, driven by the desire to safe guard humanity with novel solutions.
